    Topologically Conjugate

    Definition

Two maps ϕ, ψ:M->M are said to be topologically conjugate if there exists a homeomorphism h:M->M such that ϕ°h = h°ψ, i.e., h maps ψ-orbits onto ϕ-orbits. Two maps which are topologically conjugate cannot be distinguished topologically.
