    Qubic

    Alternate name
    Definition

Qubic is a generalization of tic-tac-toe in which players alternately place pieces to get four in a row (rows, columns, pillars, face diagonals, or space diagonals) on a 4×4×4 lattice. There are a total of 76 winning lines. It was weakly solved by Patashnik, who proved it to be a first player win, and then strongly solved by Allis et al. (1994).
