Ah, homework. For many parents, homework calls to mind something akin to PTSD. No, not that PTSD. We're talking about Parental Traumatic Stress Disorder. Just the smell of fresh pencil shavings, or the thought of looking into your child's nightmarish backpack, can send chills up your spine and send you running from the room. But has it always been this hard? Surely, kids from this generation are facing more rigorous work and that has to be why it's so painful for us parents to help, right?
