With admissions into colleges becoming more and more competitive, parents are doing everything in their powers to ensure that their students have the best opportunities available. And even in the midst of an economic depression, parents of all economic levels are fighting to give their children access to a solid secondary school education, often to the tune of thousands of dollars per year in private school tuition. In this April 2013 CNBC article, Jermaine Taylor argues that private school may or may not provide the academic advantage parents are seeking.
